Procurement of habitation from the state housing stock

According to the article 68 of the Law of Kazakhstan "About housing relations" citizens are acknowledged to be in need of habitation if they do not have freehold habitation in the territory of Kazakhstan and belong to poor socially protected strata of population: invalids and GPW participants; invalids of 1 and 2 groups; families with many children; oralmans (ethnic Kazakhs who have returned to their ethnic motherland from other countries); etc. (11categories of citizen); or state officials, budget workers and military men.

As of April 1, 2009, 13915 citizens (families) are registered to get habitation from the state housing stock, including:

-  6614 poor socially protected citizens;
-  7301 state officials; budget workers and military men.

According to the article 74 of the Law "About housing relations" the mentioned categories of people will get habitation in order of priority.

List of documents to be registered to get habitation from the state housing stock:

Application form;

Copies: ID of all the members of the family, birth certificates of children;

• Marriage certificate;
• Certificate from address bureau or notarized copy of house; (to all members of the family)
• Certificate form-6 about presence or absence of freehold habitation for all family members form SD "Justice department of Astana city" (district Centers of population servicing);
• Certificate form-6 about lack of freehold habitation to all family members from the former place of residence;
• Certificate from the place of work and certificate confirming the composition of the family;
• Copy of the document confirming privilege of the applicant (certificate of the participant and invalid of GPW, participant of liquidation of Chernobyl nuclear station, oralman certificate, pension card, large family card, health-control commission certificate about 1 and 2 group of disability, disabled from childhood. TB of open form, etc.);
• File.

Documents on state service "Registration of citizens that need habitation form the state housing stock (rent)" will be received from February 16 2009 in the following centers of population servicing of Astana city.
