Today the whole world is going through hard times of a scaled economic crisis, the global financial tsunami that shook even the soundest world economies. No wonder it echoed on our country too.

Astana is 11. Previous year became the year of serious strength test, power check of its potential. Our city, primarily, its residents, showed insistence, character, solidarity and together they created future of the main city of Kazakhstan.  
From the day of the 1st anniversary of Astana it was built here million and a half of square meters of habitation where thousands of families celebrated house-warming, primarily workers of education, healthcare, culture, families with many children.  
New schools and hospitals are built in the city; roads and objects of transport infrastructure are repaired: modernization of energy sector and communal economy is held, new parks and squares appear. The city changes, acquires its unique style and color.
