Since the adoption of the "Kazakhstan -2030" Strategy in 1997, we have made a long-term agenda, the main objectives and priorities of the country, which then got a logical development in the Strategic Plan until 2010.
We began to live as we planned and achieved the following results.
In 2008, we doubled the GDP volume, two years earlier than it was planned and effectively meet social engagements of the state.

Dear Astana Residents!

Today, it is our regular report meeting, which is traditionally held by Mayors of all level by President's order.
Just recently, the Mayors of city's districts gave a report to Astana residents, on the results of which the original "card file" of municipal problems has been supplemented and updated. It allows not only to respond to the citizens' needs, but also to design the actual routes of the municipal economy.

71,878 users visited www.astana.kz during the period from June 27 to July 7. Constant growth of attendance - is the main positive indicator of any Internet resource. The attendance at the site is on the one hand, the original assessment of our work, on the other - an indicator of indifferent attitude to everything that is happening in Astana.

The capital of Turkey, held a historic event: next to Central Park Genchilik monument to the Head of our State was opened. The sculpture is located on the boulevard that bears the name of the founder of modern Turkey, the first President of the Republic - Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Knowing how they apply to everything that is associated with the personality of the Father of Turks, it is seen that the choice of location for the monument was not accidental - it only highlights the degree of respect that fuels the brotherly people to the leader of our country and all over Kazakhstan. Our president certainly has a special power. Not once we had to notice how the arrival of President Nursultan Nazarbayev in a country dramatically changed for the better weather. Accidentally or not, but such a pattern exists. The sky can be tightly covered with clouds, but with the arrival of the President necessarily, at least for a moment, but it seems the sun.

The first National University of art is established in Astana, where young people of Kazakhstan cognize “secrets to Seven Muse”. Splendid architectural building specially built for University - Palace “Shabyt” – where concert halls, workshops, film and TV studios, artistic and choreographic halls, ballet classes took seats.

In the Jordanian capital, a ceremony initiated by Sovereign House, in which Kazakh delegation headed by Mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov participated was held. Event can be regarded as opening a new page in relations between the two countries, as in the kingdom the streets are called by names of foreign politicians only in special cases. Such an attention is the witness of the increasingly growing credibility Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Islamic world, including as a leader of the pan-Asian security dialogue.

How wonderful to be healthy it is! How wonderful to feel one's life without pain and sorrow it is. To realize that you possess some power and energy. How happy you can be while walking and breathing fresh air. However we realize it after having some experience of illness, pain, weakness. And only feeling this we consult to doctors and want to recover soon and restore everything back forgetting about everything. Being guilty in our health problems in many cases ourselves, we make physicians be responsible for us.

Astana fully confirms the validity of the conclusion that it is the developing countries have become a source of growth during the global financial crisis given by the head of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet.

A majestic monument to Kazakh Khans – Zhanybek and Kerey has appeared in Astana. It is installed in the square in front of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the right bank of the Yesil River, which  is a favorite recreation of citizens.
