The capital together with the whole state is going to celebrate Kazakhstan peoples Unity Day. This holiday has deep symbolic meaning. Since Kazakhstan become native home for fifty religious confessions. According to kind tradition they see May 1 in under the common shanyrak at one large table with Kazakh beshbarmak, Uzbek pilaf, Ukraine borsch and Russian pan cakes.
Representatives of the older generation are sure to remember this date as International Day of workers solidarity wit hits parades and demonstrations. Now this holiday has another name; in 1996 by the Decree of the head of the state it was announced to be Kazakhstan peoples Unity Day. During these years the holiday became nationwide.
This day Astana streets are full of people. Folk celebrations, loud attractions, many concerts and wonderful aroma of national meals is the real token of May 1 holiday.
This time city administration prepared richer program. From the very morning at Esil embankment one can see exposition of Astana artists and masters of decorative art of different nationalities.
Those who want to see miniature Kazakhstan can visit exhibition of the models of ethnic-memorial complex "Atameken" near congress-hall. One can also have a good laugh and listen to nice music performed by the theater of satire and humor "Astanha-shashu" that is known as "Shymkent show".
Near, at the city square of the old center gourmands will be treated with the meals of different national-cultural centers. Bright performers will also demonstrate coloring of folk music and dances. Then the festive events will be continued by the professionals of "Astana ballet company". All the performances will be broadcasted over large LED screens.
Festive concert will last till dinner at summer site in front of Youth palace "Zhastar". In the evening one can enjoy rousing melodies of disco.
City akimat prepared festive repertoire with demonstration of plays in Kazakh music dramatic theater named after K. Kuanishbaev and Russian dramatic theater named after M. Gorky. Though looking different all Astana citizens as well as all Kazakhstan people have single dream to transfer prosperous and peaceful state to future generations.
